YWCA Expansion on Beatty Street – Vancouver
Encon worked on the 30,000-square-foot, 11-storey YWCA expansion at 733 Beatty Street in Vancouver. The project included water-source heat pumps, energy recovery ventilators, a rooftop cooling tower, a steam-heated make-up air unit, a condenser loop, domestic water systems and DDC controls.
MEC – North Vancouver
The MEC project at 212 Brooksbank Avenue in North Vancouver was a 22,000-square-foot LEED Gold retail building. Encon provided design, engineering, supply and installation of the mechanical system, including variable refrigerant flow, in-floor heating and cooling, under-floor air distribution, heat recovery and building controls.
E15 – Vancouver
E15 is a four-storey wood-frame development on a concrete podium at 322 East 15th Avenue in Vancouver. The 49-townhouse development has more than 41,000 square feet of floor area. Encon’s scope included plumbing, gas and HVAC, including project management, materials and installation.
